Launcher Installs Game Forever

I know this issue has been brought up on other threads but I'm not going to bother posting on them since no solution has been offered on them. 

It's simple, the launcher never stops installing. I've watched the launcher install the game all the way up to it's required 35GB several times now only to keep installing and never stop. I am trying to be cool here but this shit it pissing me off. It's ridiculous. I'm sorry but this is now the third time I am trying to install this game **not to mention this launcher installs the game at a CRAWLING 1 MB/s despite my internet being far, far faster than that. This is absolutely ridiculous. 

No solutions on any other threads, this launcher feels like it's from 1999 like I'm sorry but can somebody give me a f*ckin fix or just give me a Steam key, seriously? This is unnecessarily frustrating.

I have the same issue when trying to update an existing installation.

 

You're right -- it's been posted on several threads, but I have not seen an official response.

 

I've rebooted computer and router; I've disabled anti-virus; I've initiated a trouble ticket -- nothing, yet.

Well then the problem really is on their end, and unfortunately they are on holidays this week.

On about the fourth or fifth try, the game installed correctly for me. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for what the problem was.

 

When each installation try exceeded the targeted size, I quit the installation and started over. After so many tries, it finally installed.

 

Wish I had a proper solution for you, but it is what it is -- best of luck.

After another full day of downloading the full game at 1MB/s, another entire day of data usage, an entire day of slow internet from downloading this - only for it to not work again. I will now have to spend another entire day downloading this game again, just because??????

Ridiculous.

As seems to be the theme, after about the 4th attempt, the launcher has successfully installed the game. I took no further steps so it is as inexplicable for me as it is for anyone else. I apologize for freaking out but it is evident that this problem is not unique, I just hope something is done about it. I really can't tell you how frustrating that was but nonetheless, I'm just happy it's working.

Glad to hear it, Taedolf.  That would have made anyone frustrated, you handled it pretty good considering the time it took to download it.  ?

My DL has stopped at 32.26GB 4 times now, I´m on my fifth try at the moment.

Clearly a problem on their end then.

Game dled but it refuses to start but that´s another problem that is handeled in another topic and by the 1c support.
