HP Reverb G2 / WMR question

Hello,

 

I recently upgraded from an oculus rift CV1 to a HP Reverb G2. I've flown a few quick missions this evening and it's made a tremendous difference to detecting and observing aircraft.

 

Is it normal to have a windows mixed reality portal and a second Il2 VR display mirrored on my monitor at the same time? This can't be good for my frame rate surely.

Turn the portal off, little button on the bottom center.
