Verify files option for non steam version

So the recent update hotfix with p51b, I’ve had the unpleasant experience for the first time in a while with fps loss in vr.

many say it’s a “corrupted install” so to fix would require a full reinstall since I own the non-steam version….

 

I was hoping maybe in the future the devs could update the launcher with “verify files”  ?   
 

unless someone else has a workaround that doesn’t include deleting the whole game…

because I did this process and had no change in performance gain like it was before hotfix.
