PlayStation VR2 announced.... but what are the specs like compared to current VR?

I know there is always a clever chap out there who will get PS VR2 to work on PC.... so if that was possible, what is it like 8n a like for like comparison with current generation VR? 

 

Just interested to know if it looks impressive or average from current VR players?

According to the article I read the PS VR2 is well down on resolution at 2000×2040 when compared to other recent release PC VR headsets.

 

Yes OLED is nice but other OLED VR headsets running higher resolution micro OLED will appear in 2022.

 

Getting it to run with a PC and getting it to display correctly could be tricky and not really worth the effort.
