Flight Record Edit

I recently asked about an editing program for tracks. Thank you to all who replied. Someone mentioned using the in game editor. I see that when you select a track/record, there are some options. Delete, Rename and Edit. I selected the edit option, which started playing the track. The difference is that there is no mouse cursor to scroll through the track. Does anyone know if this feature is functional and if so, how does it work? What can be done with it. Thanks.

I edited this video using the edit button during playback. All your camera keys you might use while flying should work while re-recording your track. In my video below, I used the free camera snd tracking camera to get different flyby angles. I paused when I wanted to set up the next scene. The recording will pause obviously until you unpause The only thing I couldn’t do was edit the length of the video and convert it to B/W. I had to use Nero for that.  
 

I’m sure other guys have different methods. This worked for me.
