Use Warthog stick as plane turret control?

Hi guys...is there a way i can make my joystick control the gun turrets movement on aircraft in game rather than the mouse.

I can make it work with tanks no problem but not the aircraft. Any help appreciated

You can use a 3rd party app like JoyToKey to simulate mouse movement with your joystick. I'm not sure if this can be achieved without 3rd party apps.

Or use Thrustmaster TARGET for this mouse emulation, but I have tried this and the result is not much practical. Anyway with JoyToKey you can try with few clicks.

 

BTW - Until now the only gun turret in flight simulators history that are practical control with joystick and rudder pedal was the Fiat Br-20 upper turret of early Il-2 CLoD versions, but this control was borked in some TF patch, trying please the mouse control crowd. Now you can (somewhat) control that turret with mouse, but good luck in hit something. ?
