Help! Just swapped out my VKB base and now trying to save key bindings.

Just swapped out VKB base and kept grip. When I start IL2, it asks if I want tro keep those key bindings and I choose yes and select my past setup. Then I get no response in game. Do I need to delete an old file to get IL2 to recognize my controller again? Can I keep the key bindings?

The game will not see my old controller obviously.

 

I tried where I didnt select the old controller and IL2 will not recognize the new stick. Any ideas?

Reboot. Open up Windows controller and ensure the new stick is there. Start IL-2, open a quick mission, then try to map the new stick. Hold the stick on each side for a half minute (sometimes that works). If that doesn't work, let us know.

I renamed the file under input and just started over. Thanks working great! Just a bunch of effort! SF
