Placement of Transducers What is Best for Buttkicking?

Just got a car stereo amp, a PSU and two Aura transducers cannabalized from a turn of the century Aura Interactor Game vest.

 

My question is how best to place the shakers. Do I set the channels up left to right or in a fore and aft configuration? Does anyone have a good sense of how the effects play out side to side or back to front?

I only have one.. but I read somewhere in here that it's set up (or can be) for stereo if you have 2 transducers.

 

Simple test: set up a stereo config, left and right. Load some bombs on the P47 and trigger them. See if you get left and right feedback.

 

If you do, I'm going to buy another buttkicker! ?

Anyone else care to comment? Any experiences on how transducer placement effects game play? I know some folk have placed a shaker under the joystick mount. Others put them at their back and under the pan of their chair. Any combinations which make a certain FX more startling?
