How does the authentikit work in IL2?

I'm working on getting mine working (I'm not good this) I started on it primarily for DCS,  but I've gotten back into IL2 of late, and wondering if anyone are using it.

I have the IX stick complete (not not working as it should) and I'm gonna start on the throttle and trim once the stick is workingish.

The Authentkit (Spitfire) IX joystick is a HID joystick like any other available model - commercial or DIY.

 

If Windows see as joystick in Games Controllers, no reason for don't work in any game that support joystick.

Is just matter of correct calibration, axes/buttons assignment, erase information of previous used joysticks.
