When are the on line servers populated

Hi 

 

I have both Cliffs and Desert wings, when I check the online servers not many people are online. 

So what times do people fly cliffs of dover or has Il2gb stolen the virtual skies?

From the DB stats it looks like activity is heaviest in evenings London time though I don't know how much of that activity is actually MP.

I dont believe they really get used...    

 

ive tried a few times, but unfortunately the only 2 servers that ever show up, let me join, let me select a german fighter, but unfortunately once i hit the "join the furball" button, i am stuck in the lobby as an English fighter pilot with no one to play with

Not really but, nevertheless, IL2GB is at the moment the equivalent of IL2-1946 some 10 years ago, you could go to one or two of its servers and find somebody for sure.

 

There still is a community of IL2CoD fans, but, because of different reasons, it is a quite scattered community. I'm sure the community will be reassembled again, around the upcoming new module and/or around new features in the game, but for the moment you don't need to wait until one of the servers is spontaneously populated. Simply announce at the apropriate forum ("Multiplayer") you'd like to have some action over the Channel or over the North of Africa... and let yourself be pushed around...

Well... GB has almost full servers every night and high numbers even during the day (at least on the main servers).

 

Clod population has unfortunately dropped down to very low numbers.

Sometimes there are some ppl (like 10-15) but for some reason, that I don't understand, they scatter themselves in all the servers so you don't have decent numbers in anyone.

Only when some official event is played you see people on it but that's not the real picture of the MP situation.

 

I really hope that with the graphics and VR updates more ppl will try again the game.

Would be nice to have some numbers back into it in order to play it.

I go on CloD multiplayer occasionally because I don't really have the time except for those occasions.

Same thing goes with BoX/GBs multiplayer, but I spend more time on CloD MP than the former MP mostly because unlike in CloD and WoFF I can't hover my mouse over the instruments -- like Oil Pressure, Temperature, Fuel Flow, etc. -- to get the information... especially in Russian and German planes.

The best way to get online with others in BLITZ or TOBRUK is when there are multiplayer events or on Campaigns servers.

 

So there is a multiplayer event on Sat. Jan 22nd.  (see Multiplayer area)

 

 

And the TWC Campaign is ongoing.

 

We hope to see better numbers when the visual Update/VR is released.
