The AI now seems unable to jettison bombs to engage enemies

Since a few updates ago, I noticed that, if I order my flight to engage enemies, they wont jettison loadouts to engage. Sometimes they do engage, sometimes not really, but they keep the bombs no matter what, to be sure to give the edge to the opposition from the beginning.

 

While some aspects of the AI have improved with time, some others have degraded to the point where the AI often looks inferior to AI from the 20th century sims. No kidding.
