Vishnu Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 It seems that when I go on stationary train missions, the train only has the locomotive spawned, and it's usually spawned perpendicular to the tracks. No other rail cars are present. I fly mostly PWCG, but I'm curious if it's a bug in a mod or something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. *Picture for attention ONLY* 1
40plus Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Yes I have observed that as well since the update..... Lovely picture. 1
AEthelraedUnraed Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Observed it as well, before the update. the latter few carriages were on the track. Still, if your train only needs to be stationary, you're better off using static objects. Saves some valuable CPU cycles.
-332FG-Gordon200 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Yes, I reported one instance on the Kuban map. Grid 1316 blk 9 locomotive and 6 cars off the rails and stuck in the mud.
Strewth Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 The engine driver was probably too busy looking at your picture??? 1
PatrickAWlson Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 What I dois position the train on the exact same coordinates as the station. That has worked in the past. Not sure if anything changed.
Chief_Mouser Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 We've been seeing this for a couple of months now, so it's not the latest update.
IckyATLAS Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 If trains will not move then use static train blocks. If trains will move then trains will be on track normally on perfectly straight railtracks for say twice the length of the train. In general the longer the train and then the last carriages will be out of the railtrack even if it is straight. The only solution I use is to have the train once spawned to move by say 1 meter. It is not visible to the eye and this will position the train whatever the length perfectly on track even if the tracks are curved. 1
