I did this sometime ago but now this the new update have to do it again & forgotten how. What I have done is an uninstall, reboot . Re-plug in the pedals, & they work BUT what I haven’t got is the neat utility of recalibration . I've tried the CH Manager install but it doesn't seem to come up with anything after running through the install.Isn't there a Microsoft Game controller located somewhere that will give me satisfaction?

Thanks gang!

As far as I know you have to use CH Control Manager. Mine is working in Windows 10

I am still struggling with this as well..........I still cant get CH control manager to work with Windows 10.    I have tried all of the fixes from the JG1 page, but still wont work.   I tried "calibrating in Windows and it "can see" the X and Y axis for the brakes.......but the game wont let me select them for that function.

Wow this is concerning… ?

I was able to install CH Manager and still use it successfully in W10 but I’ve never tried reinstalling it. Any guesses about it’s compatibility with Windows 11?

I’ve had my CH gear for 11 years and plan to keep using it forever.

Like the last time this took me a while to figure out...hopefully the CH Control utility has straightened out my problems....

Hmm, I thought my rudder was acting a bit weird after the last update, but as I was just trying out the new pony, thought it was just a peculiarity of that plane.  Now I have to check my configuration.  Thanks for the heads up!

I have window 10, but an older system and equip with twin nvdia gtx 770 and a overclocked 2700k. I am on steam, using CH manager with all CH equip including pro pedals. Everything runs great with ch manager.  I setup everything with CH manager offline and test. When I connect, ProPedals appear on the flight controls screen as YAW which is correct. I only use the computer desktop for the sim and it is liquid cooled. I have never been able to connect directly with the sim separately and use my ch equipment . You have to leave the ch manager screen on the desktop open and downloaded before you activate the sim. You may have to repeat and restart a few times, but once you connect everything and test on the settings screen, you should be good. That was years ago. I only followed the procedure and boot up now. Remember to leave the ch manager open and downloaded everytime you use the sim. I can use high end 27inch monitors without issue and spotting planes and objects is great. I use this system because unless my spotting or visuals degrade, no need to upgrade. As with noisemaker, when I switch from 109s to FW190s, the FW reacted slowly but its the character of the plane, not the ch equipment

I'm not sure if you've tried but have you gone to Control Panel-->Devices and Printers-->"Right Click on your CH Pedals Icon" -> Game Controller Settings -> "Click on your device name" -> "go to the calibration tab" -> Reset to default -> apply

Edit: You can also try calibrating using the windows process in that same window (It tells you how and it's pretty straight forward).

Maybe that helps!

Ya I uninstalled ch pro manager, it for some reason crashed my system all the time..

I just use the game controllers calibration in windows.

CH manager is not updated by the company for windows 10, so after every windows update it has issues. What fixes my issues most of the time is going through the USB's and make sure i don't allow windows to shut them down to save power. The USB power issues are the most annoying issues with CH manager this days. Gigabyte's RGB software also causes conflicts with CH manager.

I should have replaced my CH and Saitek  controllers ages ago but every time I find other uses for that budget. :scratch_one-s_head:

I can easily get to the CH Pedals , but am only given the option to uninstall..no chance to calibrate that I've found....sigh...

This is an interesting thread as I'm getting back into combat flight sims after too many years.

Having bought a new PC for gaming recently with Win 11 already installed, I'm using my rather old CH Products USB Fighterstick, USB Pro Throttle and USB Pro Pedals. I haven't been fully happy with how they work in Il2.

I installed the CH Control Manager but it would not recognise more than one device for calibration. I contacted CH Products and they strongly advised uninstalling what is now apparently unsupported software.

The devices show up in Win 11 settings but Win 11 apparently automatically calibrates them with no apparent option to manually tweak, so I can't make the fine adjustments to control dead zones.

Ho hum.

(I'm still refreshing my gunnery and assigning functions to throttle and fighterstick buttons in a way that I can remember them easily - old age is a curse - so that I don't accidentally eject rather than fire rockets or some such. Then I might venture online and make a fool of myself!)

You need to right click and then click on game controller settings then click on the device and then properties and finally on the settings tab. Dont click on the "TWCS" (in my case) or youll get a different menu

EDIT: those instructions above were very illegible lol

Right Click on your USB device (Your CH hardware) -> Left Click on Game Controller Settings -> Left Click on your device's name -> Left Click on Properties -> Left Click on the settings tab -> Left Click on Calibrate -> follow the instructions on the calibration wizard that pops up -> Have fun!

This may be an issue with Windows 11. I used to get these screens, but no longer,at least not with the method I’m trying.but the good news might be that the CH utility does seem to work….so far.

Hmmmm...

Try hitting the windows key and typing "run" then hit enter, then type "joy.cpl" and hit enter, see if that works

Hmm, had no issues running the CH calibration in Windows 7...

Running CHCM without issues on Win10/64. I'm down to the pro throttle waiting with increasing impatientience for what VKB might come out with to replace it. Only thing is you have to use the version made for Win10, I believe it's v4.55a. Other versions won't work.
