-332FG-Gordon200 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Thanks for posting this. I've just completed a new build on a ASUS ROG Maximus Hero Z690 this weekend. After viewing the second video I checked my motherboard capacitor's polarity and it is facing the wrong direction.
jollyjack Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 ASUS ??? one of the brands i used to trust ....
Confused_2018 Posted December 29, 2021 Author Posted December 29, 2021 QB, Sorry to hear that you have one of the suspect boards. I hope that whoever your supplier is fixes this up for you quickly.

Thanks I bought through Newegg and they are good about replacing faulty items. But, I bought the motherboard and 32Gb DDR5 RAM as a combo deal. If I return the motherboard I must return the DDR5 RAM as well and that is something I am trying to avoid considering how difficult it is to find.
