raizde2 Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 When I create a server I set the realism settings for all players, but can I only forbid, not enforce... what I mean is something like: If I don't allow players to have unlimited ammo, no one can have unlimited ammo, but if I allow unlimited fuel, some people can have unlimited fuel and others limited... The idea would be all the check marks on the realism settings to be optional and the boxes unchecked are mandatory. The reason being is, I'm playing coop missions with a friend, but he's a beginner and with he's setup, it will be hard for him to play any better for a while, so I give him normal settings plus unlimited ammo and aiming assist. I can disable a few things for myself, but some I can't for example I can't hide the enemy planes from showing on the map, I can't disable the aiming assist (not the bombs, I mean the red cross/circle that show up at 0.6 km), can't have limited ammo... Is it because I'm the server? or is it like this for everybody... If I join a normal server but I choose expert realism settings outside, will I play on expert? Is there a way to do it? I understand people can't play with normal settings on an expert server (not fair), but playing with expert settings on a normal server doesn't seem a problem. 1
raizde2 Posted January 1, 2022 Author Posted January 1, 2022 Hmmm, I was expecting someone to have the same problem... I don't play on multiplayer server but I would guess some expert players play on normal servers to play with their friends but still want to play with expert settings...
