VR Setup - Please Help!

I installed IL2 in the Oculus library but when I try to launch it, it just displays a loading screen eternally. What can I do to fix this?

No need to have IL-2 in the Oculus Library.

Insure VR is selected in game graphics.

Insure " Allow unknown sources" is selected in Oculus software.

Launch  the game from your IL-2.exe shortcut on your desktop.

I have VR enabled in IL2 , unknown sources are allowed in the Oculus app. When I launch IL2 from my desktop, nothing shows up in Oculus unless I click on the desktop icon within the headset, then all I see is the desktop projected in front of me. Certainly not VR. 

 

It appears that VR model is not loading in IL2 even though VR is enabled. I can load VR fine in MSFS, but I cannot get it to work in IL2.
