Question for tankers

I would like to ask some questions for tankers, and hear your opinion.

1. What tanks do you fear most on battlefield? ( that would be interesting to hear mostly from German tankers )

2. How do you usually deal when you face your feared tank ?

 

 

 

 

 

I am relatively new to tanks, so i am very inexperience. And i try always play on both sides so i am equally bad on all tanks and i fear.... well everything. ?

Depends a bit on your vulnerability settings. As player i like the Sherman and Kv1s. You gotta keep moving ...

Hello tankers,

 

Most feared were the SU 152 assault guns, as they were used by the Russians in well-camouflaged ambush positions - flanking if possible.
Then the Tigers I and II had their problems and corresponding failures.

Any tank can be your downfall. You need to be aware of your surroundings and scan the battlefield 360 looking for threats. I suspect more tankers died because they were complacent, arrogant  or overestimating their and their tanks" capacity over those of the enemy could do , carelessness ( walking into ambushes without having sent scouts or sufficient intelligence about your enemy's forces in the area, not protecting your flanks and trusting brute force tactics instead of trying to flank or divert the enemy's forces.

I fear the AI anti tank guns more than anything else. They are well hidden and have the ability to snipe your tank if you have grass enabled without you seeing them prior to them firing. Hats off to player tanks that use tactics to ambush enemy tanks. Of course, this depends on the settings each server uses when setting up AI defenses.

Answer: If I'm a German tanker, I would say in cities, the Sherman M4A & T34 1943... in big open grounds, I must say that SU-152 may take out most German heavy Tanks! If I'm a Allied tanker, I would say the Panther and Tiger in big open grounds... Pz4 in cities are also good tanks!

2. How do you usually deal when you face your feared tank ?
Answer: Always try to move after shooting one or more tanks... never stay at the same place. Most of the time, if they are more than one tank near your position, they will try to flank you! For big tanks, try to hit the side or back of the them... and wish you don't miss that one very important shot!

Q1, A:  The one that sees me before I see him.

Q2, A:  If traveling high speed on a road, keep driving through the ambush - this is AIT 101.  If traveling cross country: Turn tank to face the fire, try to locate its source with commander,  make sure commander is then buttoned up. engage target and use my range card to make sure I get accurate fire on him faster than he can get fire on me.
