BoBp.

Huge fan of Derek Robinson's books on WWII flight. My favorite has to be A Good Clean Fight. Manages to be both amusing and tragic.

Posted

U-2VS if you please!

As for my favorite book, there's a few I like a lot, but for this I'll choose Stephan Bungay's The Most Dangerous Enemy, which covers the Battle of Britain in impressive detail.

Posted

Since I only have Tank Crew so far, either BoS premium or BoBp premium would be simply wonderful to get for Christmas.

Posted

I'll go in for a ju-52.

Robin Old's memoir "Fighter Pilot" is probably my favorite pilot book. He was an awesome pilot and an awesome Officer. If half the Officers I knew were half as much a man as he was, I'd probably have reenlisted!

Hurricane Mk II, Manno Ziegler -Messerschitt

(Got everything already, so just sharing my favorites here ... but thanks very much for doin' this!)

Swordfish!

Movie: Over Here

(Recorded it on Video Tape back in 1995(6?) .... It's on youtube nowadays... In two parts. It is kinda brilliant... It is...!

Hurricane Please!! Thank you and merry christmas..

My fav ww2 movie is " Memphis Belle" 1990.. ✌️.

Oh that's cool, thank you!   I'd be interested in the C-47.  I liked watching Tora, Tora, Tora a lot as a kid.  I'm remember that part where the B-17's are coming in over Ford Island.  The Japanese are well into their Pearl Harbor attack... and the B-17 flight commander looks over at his co-pilot and says,  " what the hell kind of air control do they have around here...."   Hilarious...

My favorite WWII air book is definitely the Stuka Pilot from Hans Ulrich Rudel.

The movies, I think Downfall, The Thin Red Line and Letters from Iwo Jima are some of my favorites.

Santa Cardboard Killer, the C-47 pre-order would be a very nice addition to my hangar. :)

Hello everyone! I would like to enter into the giveaway for the C-47.

My favourite book about the air war would have to be Aircrew, a little known gem from Bruce Lewis, who was a radio operator in Bomber Command. He flew first with Wellingtons and then Lancasters.

My favourite WW2 movie would have to be Ice Cold In Alex. It’s a terrific story, and one of John Mills’ best performances in my opinion.

Hoping this finds you all in good health,

William

Oh I must have a go at this!

C-47A please

And for an aviation fiction recommendation, I would suggest Bomb Run by Spencer Dunmore.  An RAF Lancaster pilot foresees his death on the eve of his last mission and the completion of his tour of ops.  Meanwhile in Germany, a Luftwaffe nightfighter pilot learns of the loss of his parents as he prepares for his first operational sortie.  It's a very tightly focused, slightly spooky story from one of the best aviation writers out there.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas .

In regard of C 47. I will supply as many C 47 I can afford to those not getting it in this giveaway

In my opinion, there simply not enough C 47 pilots In the history of aviation.

But intention of me supplying is a genuine interest by the reciever to actually fly it.

And ofcourse support the brave decision done by the dev's of actually make it

I would enter for C-47

Favorite book, among some would be Samurai from Saburo Sakai, surviving the war, a bullet in the head while flying back to rabaul from the Solomons. And even surviving the Japanese Empire.

A fun unknown ww2 movie I know is My Way, a Korean movie about how a Korean Soldier ended up in the german army on D-day. (they actually found one in real life). He sure was far from home!

I would love the Ju-52.  My favorite WWII movie is Patton.
