schwarzerHund Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 I've seen some profiles of the Bf-109E's that show an informational stencil directly underneath the canopy where the pilot would climb in on the port side. There is a stencil on the G6 in this location- but I don't recall seeing anything about it on the Emils. Does anyone have any info on whether or not it was added to the Emil marks? If it did appear on some aircraft was it the same as the picture below? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Here is the stencil as it appears on the G6- as reference:
ICDP Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 There was no stencil there on the 109E. If a proile shows such a stencil there then it's wrong. ALways try to confirm/compare your profiles with a real image if possible.
schwarzerHund Posted December 22, 2021 Author Posted December 22, 2021 Thank you for the confirmation, ICDP. I didn't recall any photos showing an Emil with that type of stencil- but I'm certainly no expert. Thank you for your reply- and thank you so much for all your time, effort, artistry and craftsmanship in your great templates and skins!! Wishing you and your family happy and healthy holidays!
