Hello all,

I tried to run Ten Days of Autumn and other missions, but all I got was error messages repeating popping up one after the other:

It looks like I'm not able to fly anymore:-(

I have the latest version of Direct X, and my graphic pilots are all up to date. I m a little at a loss... is it possible that the recent update deleted my campaigns, or made textures unavailable? Can anybody help me?

Thanks for your help

I slept on it, mulled and checked all the game folders. It looks like one of the last two big updates overwrote everything that was present. I have every games, every campaigns but here are the only vehicles I have.

This explains why I get the message "Impossible to open the Opel folder"

Because it's gone from where it used to be...

Has anyone who installed the latest update and who plays on Steam managed to launch it?

Thanks

Don’t think that does explain your issue. I do not believe that you should have folders in there for every vehicle in game. I think that it’s just the playable ones that your able to browse there. That file which is not loading is probably inside an archive file (can’t remember the file type that IL2 uses).

But seeing as your on Steam why not just “validate” the game through Steam. Or do a quick reinstall?

Sorry to come back this late. The thing is, after installing Windows 11 (don t know if that is the reason but might), my computer was unable to recognize my NVIDIA graphic card. It was running on the basic AMD one of the computer. I formatted the computer, it helped but after rebooting a couple of time, it failed to recognize the graphic card again.

I solved that by uninstalling the card, then running an unsinstaller program on safe mode, then reinstalling the latest driver (with the wifi off, crucial). Still happens every now and again but can be coped with.

If anybody is experiencing the issue and need a fix, I ll gladly help -just send a PM.
