Purchased "Normandy" but map doesn't appear in game.

I recently purchased the Normandy campaign directly from the site (not Steam) and when I start the game, it appears listed along with Kuban and Boddenplatte, which I previously purchased, in the top right of the screen.   When I check the below, for some reason, I don't have any Normandy content in any of the following:

  • Map of the Normandy Battle Area (Southern England, Normandy and Calais Regions)
  •  Battle of Normandy Pilot Career
  •  Quick Mission Builder
  •  Custom Single-Player Missions
  •  Scripted Campaign Support

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

The map isn't due for release until circa H2 of 2022.

Right now you will only have access to some of the aircraft that have been released.

So Normandy is still in early access and the map is still in development.

Thank you so much for the information, itsbillyfrazier.

While I did know that the campaign was still in development, I didn't realize that the content was still so limited.

Thanks again!

It will be worth the wait.

The P-51B should be along shortly.

You should have access to multiplayer, the quick mission builder (I believe), and all of the single engined aircraft (by the end of the month). It is just the twin engined aircraft and map which will come out in the first half of next year.

You might consider picking up a copy of Bodenplatte when it goes on sale - as you can use most of the aircraft from Normandy in the campaigns for the module as well.

You get access to the planes as they become available.   FW190 A6, Me109G6, P47 razorback, Typhoon ad Spitfire Gryphon have all been released.  P51-B coming soon.  Besides QMB and online, I think most of those planes are also flyable in career.

How does that work?

I bought and run the game via Steam, so I go buy Normandy from the devs, and then just install it as if I didn't have Steam?

It's all one game and one install.  Everybody gets all of the content with every release.  What you can or cannot fly is unlocked by license when you buy a module.  Buying new stuff does not require a reinstall.  You just have to log in to get the new licenses.

The easiest way is to link your Steam account and you can continue to run it as you current do through Steam.  See here from Jason:
