LLv34_Flanker Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 S! Got a tip from a friend about this one. Oh boy..
Tycoon Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 (edited) Looks great, but assuming the game is anything like the studio's previous titles not really excited, yet. Edited December 13, 2021 by Tycoon 1
Ribbon Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Haha i've seen it few days ago and was thinking whole this time it is a new movie trailer which made me confused why the hell did you post movie trailer in "other games" section. ?
sevenless Posted December 13, 2021 Posted December 13, 2021 Haha, release will be 2026, if at all... Star Wars Eclipse wurde angeblich von The Last of Us inspiriert und ist noch weit entfernt (gamepro.de)
Feathered_IV Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Sounds promising from what I've heard so far. There seem to be so many opportunities for storytelling inside the star wars universe that have never been explored yet.
LLv34_Flanker Posted December 14, 2021 Author Posted December 14, 2021 S! Also a remake of Knights of the Old Republic is underway. Good times!!!
Trooper117 Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 What they should be doing is making a film or series built around the Kyle Katarn character... Remember 'Dark Forces?'

II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted December 15, 2021 Posted December 15, 2021 Rogue One helped save the franchise, however, after the disaster that was the “prequels.”

It was a gem in a sea of post episode 6 (arguably post episode 5...I mean Ewoks...come on) crap, which is a lot of crap. 3

There is no episode 6, only Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. All those other ones have numbers 1 1

Considering the sheer volume of Star Wars content that now exists including the animated series etc...it's a raging Disney-fueled suckfest that will never be redeemed. All we can do is hang on to what it used to be and ignore the pile of garbage that has come since and that continues to be cranked out. I do secretly somewhat enjoy the pod-racing, sort of Ben Hur'esque" scene in E1, but I'll never see it again because I'm not going to expose myself to that crap ever again. By the way, if you've never read the Timothy Zahn "Thrawn" novels, they're quite good. You sort of feel like you're watching an original Star Wars movie as it should be.

I thought exactly that, but "the mandalorian" convinced me that exceptions could be made to that rule - which otherwise stays very solid. 2
DD_fruitbat Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Both the Timothy Zahn books and the Mandalorian are very very good. Must re read the books, its been a while.
J2_Trupobaw Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 (edited) No flyable Tie Fighters, no Katarn, not even flyable X-wings. Pass. Edited October 29, 2022 by J2_Trupobaw 1
