Hi,

not sure if anybody else noticed, but when flying in QMB or AQMB, the AI radio chatter is really annoying and makes me mad!

Nothing against radio communication, but right after I start to engage my target - f.ex. train hunt - the other guys in my flight,
there are 3 of them, start to chatter and comment their attack and tell that the target has been destroyed endlessly, repeating
the very same sentence over and over again. Very annoying!

So, my question is: "Can I get rid of this chitchat or reduce it at least a little bit? Or is it a "bug/issue" that needs to be fixed
by the dev team?"

Thanks and cheers

Count me in, I find it takes away a fair bit of immesrsion and it impacts performance as the sound clips load up into memory or whatever they do.

I've asked over and over for a radio off switch, the same one the over chatty AI access during the automated start up and shut down procedure, but all we got so far is access to the radio volume control, which is fairly useless as you have to hold a button down at the start of every flight for quite a while to get peace and the sound files load anyhow causing the above mentioned stutter.

Some have advised that deleting the radio files cures the problem, but I find that to be a little drastic and you lose the option to get a heads up from a rear gunner when online for example. Also these files are reinstalled with every update, so it's not a proper solution.

A radio on / off switch would fix it.

First thing I do is deleting those repeating automatic voices after each update.  Wish I have button for that in the game menu.

That's true, but it's a lot of hassle compared to if you had an on / off switch for the radio, one that you could preset as a global setting one way or another somewhere so that you didn't have to mess with it on every flight.

I can't be bothered deleting all the radio files to start with, let alone sifting through them to see what I want to keep. And I don't really see why anyone should as it's an odd way to play a game, no?

You can also switch radio to enemy channel, they are always more quiet.
