No rain drops on canapy?

Hi all,

 

I have been trying out the new updat 4.701. Mostly in QMB. I am starting on the ramp with clouds set to overcast and Cumulonimbus 2 and percipitation at 10. Figuring this would yield the most rain. But when in cockpit I get rain drops on my gogles but nothing on the canopyglass. The canopyglass show only the water drops on the edges of the windscreen like with flying through clouds on winter maps. Tried it in vanilla both with and without VR and mods.

I set up a quick missions increasing the levels of precipitation. The effect of rain on the canopy did not change much. Would be great if each level would increase the effect of water streaks/ drops on the canopy especially when increasing speeds!  Make level “ 10” seem like it’s pouring rain!⛈  I also think the angle of the rain seen falling outside of the canopy should look more horizontal going at those speeds? Maybe give the aircraft skin a wet look aswell. It looks completely dry when it’s suppose to be wet.  Still an awesome addition to the game!
