while other lower velocity cannon rounds were able to penetrate the tank tracks

mg151/15 were not able to do it

so i conducted the test

and it turns out while most of the allied cannon were capable of cutting the tracks

german ones couldn't

is there something i'm unaware of ?

such things like ammunition quality or things like that?

for now it doens't make sense to me at all

here's a video about the test

Did you try the Allied aircraft against the T34, or the Germans against the Axis tanks?

If not, your test is invalid.

i was also thinking about it but i don't know how to use mission editor yet

hmm but i really don't think there wil be much difference

the question is did alied tank had more durable tracks than germans to make such a difference

and if so did dev's modelled that in to the non playable tank

i doubt that

Better test the Sherman and KV-1 then.  Oh, and try it against the Panther, Tiger, and Panzer IV models.  You have currently only used the weakest German vehicles.  Also get the tests against the player driven ones as well, as they are different than the AI only vehicles.

Testing, real testing, is a tedious process, and you should be prepared to get conclusions that may not match your expectations, or wants.

Also, you should be aware of the biases you've introduced (quite literally every test has some kind of bias) and be careful not to claim things that are not shown by your results.

This specific test doesn't show anything beyond the fact that under specific circumstances (speed, impact angle, distance, etc.) the in-game Bf-109 is statistically unlikely to destroy the in-game T-34 (1942) tracks, while under not necessarily the same specific circumstances, the in-game I-16 is statistically likely to destroy the in-game Pz.Kpfw.38 tracks. Anything beyond that is conjecture (yes, I know there were a couple of other types as well, feel free to include those too).
