Hi,

my tracks have stopped running since the update.

Are you lost or is there a trick?

thx :)

In the Game update post below the cloud images Han mentioned something for missions and tracks that you need to delete the .msnbin file.

Did not test it, though.

From the update announcement:  "Old track records can be played by deleting the .msnbin file from their folder."

Doing so, however, produces the following error:
#1001: Error occurred during flight record loading process: related mission was not found

In my experience, even with deleting the msbin file tracks often do not work between major version updates.

No luck on my end either. I was hopeful after reading the update they'd found the magic elixir that would solve this problem once and for all. While having the ability to record them in other media is great, being able to plug an old track into the updated graphics of today's version of the sim would be great.

It isn't a deal breaker by any stretch but some things occur so infrequently that we might never see them again. One such occurrence happened to me at the very beginning stage of early access. I was flying the Bf-109G2, at least I think it was a G2 we started with. It was a long time ago. Anyway, going head on against an AI flown LaGG, we passed very close as I was trying to get my guns on him. I assume he was pulling into me hard too for as he passed I looked over my shoulder to see him flipping end over end. In my mind's eye, I can still see him tumbling down. I want to think it was a high speed stall he was struggling with but it could have been an FM issue as it was early in development. Sadly, this was before the flight recorder was activated. I never have seen anything quite like that since.
