Stuttering at very low altitudes only with latest update

Hi all, I like everyone was super excited about the new update with the new clouds, but it seems I'm experiencing a rather nasty new stuttering issue when flying low to the ground in the latest patch. It seems to happen only when I'm flying below 200 or so feet and seems to happen no matter what map I'm on.

This isn't microstuttering, but has the effect of reducing the FPS by 1/3 and makes flying or landing very difficult.

My graphics card is an AMD 5700XT with the latest drivers. Anyone else having this issue in the new patch?

Yeah I'm getting it too mate. Noticeable fps drop at low level since the update, chef's kiss on the clouds though, just stunning otherwise.

I am not seeing a noticable drop in fps when flying close to the ground but am running a Nvidia RTX 3090.

Be interesting to know if the issue you are seeing is only specific to AMD or if affects NVidia cards as well.

I would estimate that I am seeing a, on average, 3 - 5% increase in FPS when flying the HP Reverb G2 at 100% SS. This is even after bumping my Cloud settings from Medium to High in IL 2 Display settings

Can you share whether you are running an AMD or Nvidia card? And yes, apart from the bad stuttering which appears to literally "switch on" at around 200 ft, my fps is better than ever and the clouds look great. I think this might be an unrelated issue but knowing whether it affects both types of cards or not would be useful to the devs.

I have a AMD 6800xt, I have had problems with stuttering and juddering since a couple of patches ago. Still the same with this latest patch.
