Having different effects from bombs based on fuze setting

I was watching this video and it occurred to me that currently in IL-2 there isn't much reason to use the contact bomb fuze setting.

 

 

 

I personally think it would be more interesting for bombs with contact fuze settings to have a greater blast radius than bombs with delay fuze since it is obviously easier to be more accurate with delayed fuze bombs since you can drop them a lot closer to the ground.

 

And if anyone has historical data to support this idea or even disprove it feel free to post it.
