Learning a new (or first) plane

New to DCS flight sims and just bought IL-2 Sturmovik. I need help in fling and operating the plane that came with it (LaGG-3). My question is what is the best way to learn your first plane? thanks in advance ~ Gary

Hi, Im assuming youve bought IL2 Great Battles not IL2 1946. . Apologies if Im wrong. You have the notes in the selection screen for every plane but Requiem's video resource is very good at getting you familiar with individual airframes and principles of flight.
