CloD still has the coolest DM feature of any Combat Flight Sim

Out and about in the Martlet over the desert of Tobruk, I find a 110 idling along. A few bursts of the .50-cal and the glorious damage model shows itself as the hydraulic pressure drops and one undercarriage wheel lowers down. Quite incredible, even today to see it brings a smile to the face.

That would be great to see.

One feature BoX does have (and it really does look impressive) is when a wing eventually snaps away under stress. Can happen 30-seconds after an engagement so you are tracking an aircraft when suddenly the wing is fluttering away a d the pilot bails out.

It's things like that which make sims so immersive.

I wish BoX had better visual smoke, vapour, damage effects because currently it is just thick black smoke, flame and small explosion on hitting the ground.

Would love to see directional debris and aircraft various explosion effects for crashing rather than just one generic flame effect.
