Scoring System Anomalies - Change or Bug

UPDATE. I flew for most of Sunday 5th Dec and didn't see any of the issues below - will monitor and try and get screen shots if it happens again.

 

I have noticed odd things happening with the scoring system in recent days. It affects the servers I regularly fly on (EU, Air Attack, Berloga I think (TBC)), and potentially other servers.  Some examples:

• EU server. In the past few days I have been given 15 and 17 points for shooting down standard fighters (e.g. Tempest) and landing, not fighter bombers. 
• Air Attack server last night in a match. I shot down a plane and successfully belly landed in a field in friendly territory - clean landing, no blood on the windscreen etc - but got 0 points although the score showed the kill. There was no friendly fire etc that I could see that would have affected the score - I cant remember what multiplier was shown. Later in the match I landed back at home base, no damage/clean landing. The score showed a kill and an assist but I only scored 2 points, I always get 15 points in the past in this scenario?
• On one server a few days ago I landed and had a couple of assists which the landing scorer showed as a large number of points (I think this was on Berloga), cant remember the figure but way too high (around 17), but this number wasn't added to my total score - 0 was added.

 

So, something odd is happening, and I have a few questions:

1. How do I find out how the scoring system works - I would like to understand so that we can build it into our tactics and remove the randomness/uncertainty when flying matches.
2. Has the scoring system been changed recently?
3. Could the things I am seeing be a bug - I would reiterate these issues only started in the past week (now 5th December) ?
4. Anyone else seeing this?
5. Any thoughts on what the issue is?
