So I've recently gotten a Dserver under this account and I'm trying to host a coop mission for one of my friends, but I'm currently having a problem.

I can open up the Dserver application and enter all the sds information and save it normally. However whenever I attempt to open an sds file with Dserver, the application closes. Does anyone know what's causing this and how I can fix it? Thank you!

The 'experts' may correct me if I'm wrong...

The dServer is designed to host multiplayer missions.

coop missions should be 'hosted' by players from inside the game...

DServer can host coop missions.

As for the OP's problem, I don't know. DServer typically does not close itself down without my request.

There may be a problem with the sds file, which is best edited manually.  The best way to start dserver is by passing your sds file to it as a command line parameter, using a Windows shortcut:

Right-click dserver.exe and select Create Shortcut.  Right-click the new shortcut and select Properties.  In the Target field, after the closing quote, add a space followed by the relative path to your sds file, which is likely to be similar to the example.  If you cut and paste the shortcut onto your desktop, you can start your server just by double-clicking the shortcut.  If there's a problem with the configuration, you may see an error message in the dserver window.
