buster_dee Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Spit IX in Quicks and Mission used to work great. Now I'm stuck on the right sill. After trying all the centering tricks, it turns out that the Mk Vb, P-40, Ju-52 (and maybe more) center perfectly. After flying those, going back to a Mk IX yields the same goofy offset. Anyone else have centering problems with specific ac? 1
Mtnbiker1998 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 You probably messed up the default center point in the Spit at some point. Move your head so it lines up to where you want the center point to be, and press F10. This will save it as the new center point.
FlyingH Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Go in to your main IL2 folder/data/LuaScriptSnapviews folder and delete the MkIX line. The program will create a new MkIX line with default position when you restart it.
buster_dee Posted December 5, 2021 Author Posted December 5, 2021 (edited) F10 does not fix it (I had tried it several times). I'll try deleting the MkIXe line. Edit: Deleting file fixed it. I probably corrupted it with all my VR-newbie ham-fisting. Thanks H. Edited December 5, 2021 by buster_dee
SharpeXB Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 I found it’s a good idea to remap F10 to something like Ctrl+F10 so you won’t accidentally reset it.
Ace_Pilto Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 F10 is the naughty button, we never press the naughty button.
