Silk, stronger than wood

Not so easy to reproduce I guess, and i didn't think of taking a screenshot sadly, but this one was fun.

Shooting a mentally challenged FW190 AI pilot (he was either sideslipping or flying inverted to avoid fire, which indeed worked once, but when the ennemy is happily sitting in your six, that's not something that will save you more than a few seconds of life if you don't take any other action) with my mighty four hispanos, parts started flying as usual, and as quite often one flap or aileron flew into my prop and bent it (I think my prop is magnetic and oppositely polarized to flying parts).

I was quite low but high enough to be able to jump, since I didn't want to try my russian roulette luck at the very much "work in progress" belly landing mechanics of the game.

While jumping quite low (I estimate my parachute was fully open between 200 and 150ft), the strong winds pushed my to the border of very flat field I had decided to jump overhead, where a lump of oaks awaited me in anger.

I was lucky enough to have my feet touch the ground before hitting the trees, but my silk parachute flew past me into the branches.... and immediately the trunk was cut right above ground. Not something I expected, but I enjoyed the comical effect ?
