Ace_Pilto Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Quote Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Yahweh, Zeus, Lucifer, Cthulhu, Thanos, General Zod or whatever powerful deity controls its fate If you're looking for an appropriate deity for assistance in finishing the P-51B, I would probably beseech Vulcan. Jesus is more of an F-22 guy now. Allah is pre-occupied with figuring out how much payload can be attached to a a $60 drone he bought on Ebay Buddha is a helicopter pilot because life is perpetual suffering. Yahweh is uninterested in flight since, if he had intended us to do so, he would have given us wings and he has a backlog of telepathic requests that reaches into the neolitic period that requires his attention. Zeus can only use a Pilatus Porter given the runway length on Mt Olympus is quite short and the elevation is too high for anything naturally aspirated. Lucifer failed the psych exam and couldn't get his wings because he had an identity crisis and was unable to decide if he was a Roman God of Light or a Semitic bogeyman,. Cthullu is on the no fly list in most respectable dimensions of the multiverse. Thanos is too busy helping Marvel combat the law of diminishing returns General Zod is trapped in a prismatic prison in 2d space and refuses to play without his VR headset, so will be unavailable until released. 1 19

Curious as to whether we will be able to see around that big, honking radiator a bit better. It's gonna be good...one of my faves from RoF. The upper engine cowling is definitely big AND honkin.... I wonder if the skinners will be able to adjust the alpha channel to remove the upper cowling. This was done historically on DFW C.Vs (along with the apparently optional propeller spinner). A number of skins in Great Battles have benefited from this technique (Hs129B-2 exhaust stub variants, Ju87D-3 sans-wheel spats, etc). Food for thought, Fafnir_6 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DFW_C.V#/media/File:German_DFW_C.V_with_crew_in_1918.jpg P.S. I understand the frustration about the collector tank announcement...I'm sure it will be good. Instead of taking the complaints too harshly, perhaps look at it as evidence of a clear love of the TC product, which obviously has a bright future. Guster Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 Horus just tweeted that he approves though I'm not sure he has that many followers these days. Speaking of the sky I'm looking very much forward to the new clouds. Keep up the good work!

In terms of aircraft released we are way past half-way... and in terms of map development - that is probably past half way too (not to mention the other planes) - it just isn't released to us yet
Rustedgun Posted November 30, 2021 Posted November 30, 2021 When I look at these updates I always like to take a balanced view: Pros: New clouds coming shortly DFW coming along with the new Yak skins Two new tanks incoming P51 B on the way New advanced mission generator C47 and IAR in the works Normandy well into development WW1 maps and planes continue to grow Cons: The mouse cursor is broken again in VR, jittering and stuttering problems, CTD’s all the time, wiping out the controls and settings all the time, huge load times, all the problems with the store… oh… hold it, that’s that update for other big civilian flight sim with all the developers and resources. You are the small development team...O.K., sorry - yours just works 3 1
Feathered_IV Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 No really a criticism, more a query: Did the DFW interior framework have lap jointed timber as shown below like a piece of furniture, or would there have been metal reinforcements at each junction like those seen elsewhere. Such as on British aircraft for example?
