Very cool! I hope that green is more olive drab than it looks in the photo...looks almost neon green.

Hope so too. I ordered the P-51 set, so we should know the answer to that before long.

Nice. The P-51 pedals look the same as ReplikaGear's pedals. I've been using his P51 pedals on my Crosswinds for a year and a half. They are a great shape!

I also have a set of Replika Gear pedals on the Crosswinds, been using them for about a year and I like them, a lot!

I´m using the Replika Gear pedals since a while but I think I might switch back to the vanilla pedals as I don´t find the combat pedals that comfortable.

With this style pedals you should have your heels on the floor, so you need a hard floor vice carpet.  My room is carpet so I put the OEM pedals back on so I could rest my entire foot on them.  Otherwise these pedals will get very uncomfortable trying to rest your feet, especially your instep on that rounded bottom part.

I did the same. Tried a couple of different variants of combat pedals, neither one  felt good to me so I am back to original pedals and quite happy. However the damper mod - that I am quite happy with.

Probable ReplicaGear's sell(?) drawings for MFG - like the damper mount; both guys are from same country, what is good for buyers, don't need pay another shipping.

I received my P-51 pedals today. They are true to the size and form of real P-51 pedals, and of course I like the "Press Pedal to Release Parking Brake" inscriptions on them. These are much lighter than the stock Bf 109 pedals, as these are made out of a plastic material.

Anyways, installation was a cinch, and in the process I adjusted the vertical alignment to be as vertical as they can go. Besides the looks of these pedals, the ability to mount these more vertically than the Bf 109 ones was a big selling point for me - with my cockpit stand frame, I couldn't tilt the Bf 109 ones as far as I could.

Comfort and ease of use is great. I can pretty much use these while flying with my heels resting on the metal frame without any discomfort. If I need a bit more positive control, all I have to do is raise my feet an inch or two. The grip is good both with bare feet and while wearing socks. For reference, my shoe size is 9-9.5 inches. The shade of green seems right - not nearly as bright as MFG's photos show them to be.

So yes, I can definitely recommend these. ? I just wish MFG sold an all-green pedal set. ?

They arrived during the day while I was at work, i.e., the 22nd. :)

Because of the different mount styles in real life..P51 pedals are hung from a frame under the instrument panel whereas the 109 uses a horizontal pivoted bar on the floor..

Indeed, and like I said, with the design of the Crosswinds and how they are mounted to my cockpit stand, I like these P-51 pedals a lot more. ?

Yep! ? I flew a couple of missions right after installing them and really liked the feel.

Old post, but...

I received the Cessna style pedals this week. Besides the color matching the rest of the setup better, these IMO are better ergonomically for using "normal" shoes or going barefoot. There's nothing wrong with the the P-51 or Bf 109 pedals, but those were obviously designed with the idea of wearing combat boots.

With those style pedals your heels are supposed to sit on the floor, that doesn't work to well on carpet. I beta tested some a few years back and liked them. I moved my set up to a small bedroom that had carpet, I had to put the 109 pedal back on. I use very soft light weight slippers with the 109 pedals, I like to feel where my foot is on them.

Cheers

Same here, 109 pedals went back on, but because I raised my pedal setup and couldn't rest my heels on the floor any more.

Yes, my pedals are up on rails, so I can rest my heels on the footrests as they are intended to be. Though, ideally, I'd like to add a "floorboard" under the rails so I have more room to move my feet (I'm using a Monstertech setup).

EDIT: lol, speaking of which: https://www.monstertechusa.com/product/pedal-mounting-plate/

So, last week I bought that floorplate from Monstertech and they shipped it out very quickly. What ended up being an adventure was finding out what size T Nuts and bolts I needed for the thing since it didn't come with any, and the instructions were nonexistent. Three Amazon shipments later, I finally got it set up correctly. ? I also had to remove the rear crossbar, since Monstertech changed the dimensions on their parts slightly since I originally bought the frame, but it was no big deal.

I'm really liking these Cessna rudder pedals, that's for sure.
