Front Line Density Settings

The parameter "Density of front-line activity" has three options...

1. Scattered

2. Medium

3. Dense

 

Is this for the density of ground units only, or also the number of aircraft in the air?

Ground units only - the density of aircraft is controlled by the difficulty level.

Yes, the difficulty level affects the skill level of both friendly and enemy flights (excluding yours), the density of aircraft, and the density of enemy flak coverage.
