Missions AWOL

I have mission in my multiplayer folder and mission folder, but when I'm in-game and go to create server in multiplayer none of the mission show up to chose from both the left and right sides are blank even through they show up in the game folder. I have removed all mods and tried to load a saved mission but they are saved in the appropriate game folder but won't show up when I attempt to host a game. Also when playing on group server and a new mission go's up it shows that mission being downloaded to my machine but when I check the mission and multiplayer folders they are not there, everything was working fine this morning and I tried to recreate everything I did but can't identify the problem.  Help Please, TC

@too-cool, do you have one game client installation or do you have more? for example, a separate installed version of the game for the server and a separate one for the client?
