Since a couple of updates ago my throttle is not functioning like it did before.

If I move my CH Pro Throttle USB up or down there is a long delay/lag before the manifold air pressure gauge needle responds.  When it finally does respond it does not stop moving on the mark on the gauge where I am trying to set it.  I am constantly "hunting back and forth" to set the manifold pressure.  This never did this before and this does not occur in the windows control manager even after calibrating it nor does it  happen in the other flight sims that I fly.

Any suggestions on the cause and how to fix this.  It is becoming increasingly annoying when trying to set it while cruising as well as in combat when trying to avoid engine damage.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey MLM <S>. If I were to guess it's not your throttle. What I think it happening is a bit of a lag between you increasing the throttle and a supercharger spooling up. All the planes are different like that and I'm still a newb at it for most planes. Hopefully, somebody better/more knowledgeable at it will chime in. For example, the P-38 isn't so much of a problem but the P-40 can be a gigantic PITA getting set and not blowing your engine even tho they're both Allisons. They're just different animals. Generally, the idea is to set your RPM and slowly increase throttle to the desired MP. It may hunt a bit but should settle down. If you're adjusting the throttle it'll hunt more. Requiem has a nice set of YT vids on the subject. Give them a look. Oh and....nice sword buddy!

Hey Drano <S>.  Long time.  Good to see a familiar face.

I still pop in AH from time to time.  I have kept my account going there.  I think I am the last Musketeer flying there.

I expected the lag in the turbo supercharger planes, but not the supercharger planes.

There isn't an issue in any of my flight sims, but here with this problem.  So I went into the CH Control Manger and calibrated my stick, throttle and pedals anyway and it seems to be a lot better in this sim.

Regarding the P-40E-1.  I have the pilot flight operating manual and the highest available manifold pressure is only 45" Hg.  I have read no references to be able to go to a higher M.A.P., but in this game the throttle can go upwards of 50+" Hg.  Crazy.  Maybe they put the engine from the P-40E-M-105 which had a Russian engine in a P-40E airframe?

Oh and I have already watched a lot of Requiem's Air Combat Tutorial Library
