Heavy AAA usually shoots at the player, no matter if enemy or friendly. At your airfield, if there is any enemy aircraft somewhere around you, it doesn't have to be close to you, the heavy AAA will shoot at it that unprecisely, that the rounds will end somewhere around your aircraft.

It's funny, they never seem to hit the 'Bad Guys'..........

Yeah, I've taken hits from AAA when trying to down an enemy aircraft that was vulching a friendly field. It's the risk you take. And they definitely will hit and down the bad guys, it's actually better to drag the enemies through then chase them through, seems to be less of a chance of taking a friendly hit, and they will get him eventually.

I'm beginning to wonder just who the bad guys are. I have been dusted by the ground crew AND wing mates. Perhaps I should defect, to other side..no?

As I posted above, in my careers I am the Bad Guy. I am my worst enemy. Throwing tons of debris of shot-at-short-distance aircrafts into my props or smashing my pained ground attack aircraft into the steppe. No AI can be as dangerous for me as I am.

I too am an ACE for the 'other side', as many times as I have flown into the ground, all by myself too...........

Flying in formation....I AM considered a menace.

I've been shot and killed by "friendly" bomber machine gun turrets while attacking enemy fighters that were intercepting the bombers.
