Hello all.

Today is November 19th, which means that it is also the 80th anniversary of the final battle and loss of HMAS Sydney (II): the ship which was the Pride and Darling of the Royal Australian Navy in World War 2.

I have done a series on the Cliffs of Dover forum to commemorate HMAS Sydney from when she was built to her loss, which is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

Yesterday (19 Nov) the one recovered body from HMAS Perth was identified through DNA. Not only a good story the timing of your post was a little spooky.
