JV44HeinzBar Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 S!, The title says it all. I basically took the stock template, added some color variations and copy & pasted some actual battle damage received by tigers during WW2. I wish there were some templates or maps that would show me how each piece of the puzzle matched. It's a real pain having to load the new skin, look at it in game, take screenshots, and then make corrections. I never seem to be able to align segments of the templates right the first 5+ times HB 5
moustache Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 the "rust" effect on the tracks at the front of the body is nice ... is it possible to do the same on the other tracks? these are much too clean from the base in the game (a bit like the rest of the tank), it looks like the tank has just left the factory ...
JV44HeinzBar Posted November 18, 2021 Author Posted November 18, 2021 (edited) Yeah, I haven't quite figured out everything yet. For some reason, I can't get the wheels to look muddy or dusty. I've tried painting them time & time again, and the results look the same. I've checked the opacity, flow, etc when using photoshop. Perhaps, I'm reading those qualities wrong. Any tips on correcting this would be appreciated. Edit: @ Moustache, I just realized you were speaking of the shininess of the track? I honestly don't know where those are located on the template. I've found these esoteric templates to be difficult in deciphering for a novice like myself. HB Edited November 18, 2021 by JV44HeinzBar added pic
Na-zdorovie Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 the tracks are under a diff location, which can be edited but you will need to extract the package, they are a gtp file which you will need to unpack with UNgtp, the error message you will get is normal and they will create a new file called "null. but editing them in total is quite difficult i do have edited versions in all skins but they for some reason have trouble with verification in MP, i think as it sees them as a cheat oopd, forgot, sorry HB, dam good skin mate pps also use the colour file i sent you to match parts
