How the Upcoming Siemens-Schuckert D.IV Should Sound

Hello,

My son and I recently came across this youtube video of Mikael Carlson's Siemens-Halske Sh.III-powered Pfalz D.VIII.

This is the first running example of the Sh.III since 1925 and we think your sound engineers can use this video (or perhaps even get a hold of Mikael Carlson to get access to the actual machine) as a reference for the upcoming Siemens-Schuckert D.IV, which is also powered by this engine.   His Pfalz D.VIII replica was built after he got access to the only surviving D.VIII wreck in the Deutsches Technikmuseum in Berlin.   The Pfalz D.VIII is an interesting type and apparently 40 were built and deployed with Jasta Boelcke in 1918.  We think you might also want to consider this type as a candidate for inclusion in BoX as a collector vehicle for the multiplayer FC crowd, who seem to enjoy uber-late-war German fighters (not me so much, but whatever funds my early war two-seaters/Russian front/Italian Front/Macedonian Front/etc).

Cheers,
