ME262_vs_P51 Mustang_B25 (Revision 2)_Mission by DFLion

I have been having another look at this mission to make it work better, thanks to 'Voidhungers' good suggestions.

'The Heat is on' - we now have 8 Mustangs protecting the B25's (originally 4 Mustangs). The Me262 is one of my favorite aircraft in the flight sim, it certainly was the start of the 'jet age' as we know it today. (Apologies to Meteor jockeys).

In this mission you have the to use the Me262's speed advantage to 'ward-off' the Mustangs. The B25's 50cal protection is working, you just have to keep up your speed advantage to avoid being hit!

I've just 'test flown' the mission and it looks good - good luck?

Thanks I will try. Did you increase the difficulty of the AI bombers and fighters?

Enemy fighters are now more agressive, thanks ! ?

Fire from the bombers are still not accurate like when I set Ace difficulty in QMB, but overall the mission is now much better.

What I absolutely love about this mission is that you can hit something with the R4M rockets because the bomber formation is larger than in QMB.

In one mission I hit one bomber with the rockets and two others with the cannons and one of the doomed bomber hit another one in formation.

There were parts of the bombers flying everywhere, beautiful sight

 

I cant wait for the B26 to have more targets

Sorry, but as a newbie, I'm not sure how to play it. This doesn't look like a Scripted Campaign that I drop in my "Campaigns" folder.

Hi Felgrun,

This is a single mission, not a campaign, so you 'drop it' in the 'Missions file' - you then should be able to play it without any problems. Let me know how you go?

Got it to work, thanks. Now if only I can figure out how to take off (not as easy as the Bf109).

I like starting engines and take off in Me262
