Barry aka Bearcat has passed away...

Oh this one hurts  When i was a member of RAF_74 back in the IL2 46 Barry was always someone i enjoyed speaking with and flying with.

I've been away from Il2 stuff for a while and have recently gotten back into it, despite it NEVER leaving my hard drive!  As such, I was thinking a lot of Barry as he was a personal friend and realized I should give him a call as it's been a while.  When I dialed his number, a Verizon message notified me that the number was temporarily turned off are something similar.  Flustered by this, I went to send him a message on Facebook and that's when I saw it.  I was devastated to realize that this had happened back in 2020!  I had no idea it had been that long since we'd connected.  This really hurt me badly today for a number of reasons.  

Here is a link I posted about him and our B17 flight together back in 2008.  Some of you old timers might even remember that! 

Anyway, I made the linked post before I knew that this had already been known.  Enjoy the photos and I also have LOTS of video during the flight if anyone is interested.
