Stonehouse Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 As far as I've seen AI pilots currently ignore AAA fire in their close vicinity. So the initial burst of AAA comes in near the flight and usually misses but the AI pilots just calmly continue on at the same speed, altitude and course. This leads very quickly to AI aircraft getting shot down. This is particularly evident in fighters which could and did dodge about when under AAA fire in real life. Could we get some sort of AAA evasion logic added to the AI please? Even if at random periods of say about 5-10 secs they just climb/descend something like 100-200m (or perhaps 10-20% of the briefed altitude might be better since it avoids ground collision problems more easily) randomly around the briefed altitude when under AAA fire if they are not actually performing a ground attack or ACM. 1
Thad Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Absolutely not! Have some pity. We AAA players need some easier targets. ? 2
