Figured it would be interesting to see what everyone's answers to this question are.

Personally, I'm kinda torn between Tank Crew and Battle of Stalingrad. I'm probably leaning towards BoS, though - I do love the Bf-109 F-4 and Yak-1 series 69.

BoK

Very varied planeset and the most beautiful map

Then BoS

Ju87 ftw!

then BoBp

Late war hotrods are awesome to!

Ask me again when there’s a Battle of Guadalcanal.

For now - Normandy hands down.

Battle of Kantō Plain, 1945.

Or the Battle of Berlin, also in '45. With all Allied factions playable, not just Russia vs Germany.

Barring those pipe dreams, Bodenplatte wins for me. Followed by Normandy. Followed by Stalingrad, Moscow, Kuban. Nothing against Kuban's plane set, but I just like my careers in other theaters more.

Only if they include the "Fly drunk, just like Pappy" mod.

Battle of bodenplate for there is Me262, Dora and Bf109K

And Flying circus 2 for there is Fokker D.VIII and Pfalz DXII

I cant decide between these two

Oh and of course there is TC. I have missed it. Shame on me. In that case its the TC. One and only!

BoN (cos of the map, just include Spit.IXc) and any PTO battle!

I also like Moscow and Kuban map, sadly Moscow map being quite underrated in MP

For the moment, BoK is the most balanced with the most interesting map.

I am waiting for BoN

Posted

I vastly prefer the early war period, and moscow came with the 110 - so if all else was equal I'd play moscow, but the Kuban map is just so much more interesting.

I wanted to vote Kuban, but accidentally selected Bodenplatte (Serves me right for not wearing the reading glasses).  Doesn't seem to be a way to correct the poll, unfortunately.

Voted Kuban, best (most beautiful) map FTW.  I would have voted Normandy, but since it's not in full release yet I will reserve judgement.

Battle of New Guinea, Battle of Burma, or Battle of the Solomons would get my vote if available.

Kuban for me.

This was the module that really got me sucked in. While I enjoyed BoS/BoM, the steppe landscape is a little monotonous after awhile. Kuban changed all that for me and showed what the sim was capable of.

Also it included the Duck... One of the best looking planes in the sim in my humble opinion ?

I voted for BoN because I can’t wait to play it ?

In fact it’s Kuban because it’s most variously…. Flat land, mountain and sea…. Followed with low distance BoB, big map planes that blow you away and the feeling being close to home ( I live in northern Germany )

What map has an Allison engine'd Mustang option on it, yeah that one.

Battle of Normandy: Mosquito, Me-410, Typhoon, Spitfire Mk.XIV, Arado 234, V-1s ?

Battle of Normandy cause is the most versatile (from 1939 to 1944).

As hyped as I am for Normandy, if I could only choose one I'd have to take my P-51D. Simply no contest.

BOS for the plane set ( I like to fly VVS) and while the map is plain, I like the historical tension of the Stalingrad time period.

TC and BP are tied second

Early war is best IMHO, just tired of Russia. If it has to be Russia then give me the 109E/Rata.

Argh, I rushed and missed that Normandy was listed so voted for BOBP.

Without a doubt, Moscow is the most boring map but some planes are interesting (Ju88, i16, Mig3).

Kuban is the best map, and a few interesting planes (A20, SpitV, etc).

Stalingrad is good, but i spent so many years in it that I think I'm done forever, especially with the winter map.

Bodenplatte has the most interesting planes for me. The map is ok.

That is so hard... because my favourite aircraft are distributed across several sims...

BoM is tempting with its Mig-3 and selection of aircraft.

BoN looks like it'll be pretty spectacular and comprehensive

Flying Circus - Volume 3 might win for me though :)

I would definitely miss something from each of the modules whether it's maps or planes (like my I-16 or Kuban!). I went with Stalingrad as I love the history surrounding it and I feel it's got a great plane set. Glad to see the Eastern front polling so well too.

In terms of non-existent modules I'd love to vote for I would have to say Spain, Leningrad or the Battle of Britain.

Huh? Do we fly on the same Moscow map? It's gorgeous! Vast forests, plenty of rivers along with some large lakes / river basins, some nice industrial areas near Moscow itself, a couple of other large towns such as Kalinin, Rzhev and Vyazma...?

It's like a shopping trolley. With wings. And guns.

I picked Normandy as it’s the freshest content.  That being said Normandy and Bodenplatte are really symbiotic - if you want a full set of Normandy era planes, you really want the Spit IX, P-38, 190A-8 etc from BoBp.  And likewise for a Bodenplatte scenario you really want the Spit XIV, Typhoon, AR234 etc from Normandy.

Kuban map....love mission over terrain surrounded by the sea.

Even thou nobody asked me personally or even cares i will still let you know that i only vote for things that are not on the list!

Call me when Battle of Andromeda, October 7th 29884 AD is out. Can't wait to fly the Y-Wing Bukang fighter, trully a joy.

See ya later aligator.

This is a tough one. For me it would probably be Normandy. It's going to be a great map with part of France and Britain and its going to have a nice selection of late war planes.

I'm not as interested in the eastern front content in general so a lot of the Russian planes I could live without, though I'd hate to loose the He111 and Ju87 that comes with those expansions.

I'd also hate to loose the WWI Era. But we always have old Rise of Flight to fall back on for that.

Now if they'd ever fix Moscow City that 'll be a good one ...

Probably FC if just one, especially after the release of FCII with its map.  I am playing BoS right now (haven't really touched FC yet) because it has all of those maps and offers better developed gameplay than FC currently does.

For just one WWII map it's Normandy.  Three years of potential gameplay in one map.

As the topic was which “one” I’ll go with Bodenplatte. I love flying the mid war American iron more than any others. I will say the RAF planes are a close second though. I flew a few ground attack mission with the advanced mission builder last night. Plenty of action, both ground and air even with the moderate (?) setting. Once that is fleshed out more and individual skins can be assigned to one’s flight, this will seem like a completely different flight sim. A big thank you to the team for bringing back this great tool.

My favorite in theory should be Bodenplatte, but the map is horrendous with no small villages or farms, few landmarks, no real massive industrial cities, and a copy and paste of the same textures ad naseum. I am hopeful the Normandy map will be much better (and it will have to be to hold a candle to DCS: The Channel).

I love them all, but voted for Normandy because it's the newest toy right now!

Currently BOM, because of the 110 (even though it has the wrong engines) and the best looking towns (no park areas with lots of trees and few tiny, hard to find houses, like the other Stalingrad and Kuban maps).

It will be BON, after the release of the 410 and the career mode (with hopefully some new mission types (there are quite some of them missing so far))

But in fact I would all go with Gambit for Guadalcanal (it was very sad, that the Pacific theatre was done pretty poor in 1946)

I'm gonna be honest, i didnt expect so many people to choose BOK, and was expecting even less it being in the first position. Its my favorite map, but the plane set never look too special to me.
Maybe i should play a few more campaigns and see whats up
