Flying Actung Spitfire.

Just pelted a 109 with cannon and machine gun, hit it with my Spitfire.........

My Spit broke, I bailed, and the 109 flew away.....

That is one tuff plane.

Post mission memo from 109 AI pilot...................

There I wuz on a nice sunny day, minden my own business und vishen peace und good will to alles

Wen a overley genourous Spitfeur pilot decided that I did not have enuff ammo and gave me some of theirs

Next time I hopes he keeps his ammo for heself, I really did not need more ammo, specially the kannon shells that rooned my Vunderbar paintwork

He reelly vanted to to be mein fruend as he got ver close and removed some xtra paint und gave me quite a jolt.

His luftkraften did fail und he had to bail

Some say German Engineering wus to blame but i just kissed my lucky rabbit foot and kept on my way, dat ist all i really have to say.

I am wondering if something did get scrambled on the last patch.  The AI are back to their endless circling routine, and we have noticed the 109s do seem to be more damage resistant than before the last patch.

It's a subtle change, but when four of the Pigs have noticed it, well it tends to go beyond confirmation bias, or tin foil hat conspiracy.

The 109 will probably never get a realistic damage model.
It is now so resilient that any correction from Devs side towards something more realistic would cause a terrible outcry.

Shouldn't this thread be in the Tank Crew forum?

Does the OP mean the Fokker D9 prototype? It was too late for WW1 though. However, Unreasonable is right. After appraisal by the US in the early twenties, it was consigned to TC where it belonged like the rest of the Fokker tanks, while development continued on the Jenny.
