HEAT rounds error?

it was sometimes used for substitute the HE rounds against infantries and light targets

althought it's main function was to penetrate the armour with hot streamed gas

but still there was subsequent amount of explosive charge inside the shell

and i foudn out that inside the game when it's fired on the ground it didn't explode like normal ap shells

when infact it should

i think it's one of the error that devs can correct

I was just noticing this the other day and seems to occur more at far ranges like 2500m+

I have noticed an unsual percentage of AP ricocheting off in this game not only on armour but also when hitting the ground as well. The same with APHE.

shell ballistic physics in this game is pretty solid

i don't doubt that they got it wrong

and i'm talking about HEAT rounds not exploding whne it hits the ground or other object like trees and buildings

i just tested it with tiger and it didn't exploded no matter how far i shoot

I don't doubt that their b allistics are solid but it could be a programmign or coding issue. Their damage model I find fairly basic for such a recent sim. Background and battle sounds are also missing which impact the immersion imo. For the price they are askign they will need to polish their product quite a bit more.

well for me there was no unusual ap(aphe,ap,apcr) ricocheting off the ground

but i agree 100% upon that they need to improve the game to ask such a price

if you check their dev log they modellled every bit and pieces inside the tank

which you can not see inside the game

and from that perspective 80$ price is very cheap for what they made and modelled

BUT! it's the feature only they can see and know

yes you modelled everything so what? if player can't see it and experience it

i think TC could have more success if they just made it as ultimate mechanic simulator

so you can actually look through every bit and pieces and see how it all works together in real time with x-ray vision

as you can see a lot of research has been done about modeling each part of the tank

well for end user expereince it's not so different than post scriptum or hell let loose tank

it's such a shame

becasue this could had been the ultimate tank sim if they polish the product enough and put more time to emphasize their unique features before they released it

honestly if they make it avaiable to see the tank in this kind of x-ray vision with more detailed damage modelling

i'd say it's value is worth more than 100$

the detail is insane but only if you can see it lol

but good news is they are still updating the tank crew along with aircraft module so it's not abandoned
