Cockpit Photos

I did a search, but found no cockpit photos you can add in. Has anyone done any and if so, are their links? Or instructions for adding in your own?

Yes. From release notes in Update 3.201:

 

To add a custom photo to your airplane or tank cockpit you should replace existing default DDS image by another one in:

<game_folder>\data\graphics\planes\<airplane_folder>\textures\custom_photo.dds

or

<game_folder>\data\graphics\vehicles\<_tank_folder>\textures\custom_photo.dds

DDS image should be 1024x1024 in DXT5 ARGB 8bpp with mip-maps

 

 

There are some mods that already populate each plane with the pilots notes (engine settings etc). Search the mods section if that sounds interesting.

If you browse the Mods forum, you'll find several photo sets ready to use, such as:

...for a few different styles, but there are others. I don't know if you'll find them to your liking however; from your name and some of your earlier posts I'm assuming that you're a girl, and most of these mods are very, well, geared towards guys 

 

It's not difficult to create your own cockpit photos however, using the guide posted above (although I would recommend using GIMP instead of paint and a separate online converter. Just export as dds with BC3/DXT5 compression). I myself use only custom photos, of my favourite female (folk) metal singers, wherever I found their clothing to be plausible for the era.
